Home Energy Assistance Program Now Accepting Applications

The State of Ohio is now offering help for those who are struggling to stay cool this summer.

The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program opened Saturday, July 1st and runs through September 30th.

Through the Ohio Department of Development, many of those earning less than 175-percent of the federal poverty level can get payments to cover energy bills and air conditioner purchases or repairs.
