Ohio Golf Courses Allowed to Remain Open- For Play Only

The Ohio Department of Health says golf courses can remain open during the COVID-19 crisis, but they must meet all of the stay-at-home order's in the social distancing requirements.

This caps a recent back-and-forth that caused some confusion with private and public golf courses, as to whether they had permission to remain open.

Every cart must be disinfected before it's used, scorecards and pencils that are used to keep score are thrown out, and clubhouses must be closed to indoor dining.

The ODH is leaving it up to local health departments as to whether courses in their county can remain open.
