The old saying says; "You are never too old". Some alumni football players from Westfall and Paint Valley high schools are hoping to prove that true, while reliving one of the greatest rivalry stretches in SVC football history.

An alumni football game between Paint Valley and Westfall has been scheduled for Saturday, September 21st at 7pm, at Westfall Football Stadium.

The period between 1980 and 1996 saw Westfall winning the title nine times and Paint Valley five times. Many of those times the two schools were battling in a championship game.

-23 of the last 36 years Paint Valley or Westfall have claimed a league championship, including 8 consecutive titles from '89-'
96'.
-The two schools have combined for 21 undefeated SVC seasons
-Paint Valley's 2003 squad finished in the Final 8 in the state playoffs, with their only defeat was to eventual the state champ,
Columbus Academy.
-Westfall's 2007 team is the only SVC football team to advance to the Final 4, and were also defeated by the eventual state
champ in Coldwater.
