Southeastern (8-0) with 40-6 Win at Paint Valley

The Southeastern Panthers rushed for 465 yards and scored touchdowns on six of their eight offensive possessions in a 40-6 win over the Paint Valley Bearcats, Friday at Knisley Memorial Field. Five of those were in consecutive possessions.

The Bearcats moved the ball on many of their possessions, only to see three straight drives of 10, 13 and 11 plays end deep in Southeastern territory without any points to show for it.

The Panthers "three-headed monster" combination of Carson Stauffer, Dakota Houser and Lane Ruby each went over the century mark in rushing. Houser led the way with 137 yards on 7 carries- scoring twice, Stauffer had 131 yards on 9 carries with two TD's and Ruby ran for 106 yards in 7 carries- with one TD.

Big plays came from Lane Ruby on a 60 yard TD run for their first score, Houser had TD runs of 24 and 82 yards, and Stauffer running scores were from 1 and 33 yards. Dalton Chaffin added a 4 yard run.

Paint Valley had 266 yards, with 137 on the ground and 129 in the air on Brice Newland's 12/23 passing. The Bearcats lone score was a 1 yard run from Tygr Tesi.

Southeastern improves to (5-0/8-0), traveling to Adena next week. The Warriors dropped a 42-7 decision to Zane Trace, Friday. Paint Valley falls to (1-4/2-6).
