The Latest on the Ross County Fair and Ross County Commissioners

Brad Cosenza, Ross County County Administrator.

With the Ross County commissioners working on their mid-summer budget and the Ross County Fair staring on Saturday, I asked the administrator for the county and head of the fair board how things are going.

A clearly tired Brad Cosenza chatted with me ‘on tape’ after the Ross County Commissioners meeting on Monday, July 28th.

Regarding the fair, Cosenza said he is happy that the forecast for is for cooler days next week during the event (when the fairgrounds become the second largest town in Ross County).

School buses painted school colors for the bus derby have been on display at the front of the Ross County Fairgrounds.

He said Wednesday night’s school bus derby is all the talk. The buses, painted school colors, have been on display at the front of the fairgrounds. (See our story on the event.)

Cosenza says the fair program, and even the whole fair book, are available on the fair’s website. Hard copies are also available in many places.

The “Tax Budget” that the commissioners are required to produce mid-year points out the many projects that the commissioners are working on or planning, and I asked Cosenza to outline them.

Hear him in his own words in the below video. Find the article on the Scioto Post
