Circleville Downtown Headlines

Circleville’s Downtown Business Association say it won’t be hosting live Christmas parade this year, nor the annual Santa House, due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

Members are in the process to brainstorming some other ideas to take their place. Those ideas, not yet set in stone, include a virtual Christmas parade, a virtual ugly sweater contest, a drive-thru Santa greeting, a virtual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, a business widow decorating contest and more.

The Ted Lewis Museum in Pickaway County will be receiving nearly $3-thousand in grant funding, approved by the Ohio Arts Council. It’s a total of $2,949 that will allow the museum to continue to program its arts activities. The Ted Lewis Museum is among nearly 700 other organizations throughout the state to split more than $12.5-million in Arts Council grants.
