The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash that took the life of a Circleville woman Tuesday night on US Route 22 in Fairfield County. The crash occurred at approximately 9:48pm.

52-year-old Kasindra K. Monst was traveling eastbound when she drove off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, traveling off the left side of the roadway and overturned, striking a utility pole. Ms. Monst was not wearing her safety belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.

Monst was transported to Ohio Health Berger Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
