Pickaway County Commissioner Brian Stewart has announced his candidacy for the 78th District of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Republican Ron Hood is current 78th District rep, but can’t run again due to term limits

Stewart has been county commissioner for seven years, after being first elected in 2012. He was re-elected in 2016
.
In a press release, Stewart was quoted; “I’ve spent my entire adult life serving my country & my community. Now, I’m ready to fight for the people of Pickaway, Fairfield, Hocking, Morgan, Muskingum, & Athens counties as the next State Representative for Ohio’s 78th District”.
