The first year of an organized group prayer prior to students arriving at Ross County schools went so well last year, that the organizer is looking to expand to schools in other counties.

"B4TheBell" founder Lynn Strehle says all seven Ross County schools have confirmed their participation for the coming school year. He says people in the community gather at their respective school campuses on the first Monday of each month, where they pray for the safety of the students and staff.

He says there have been schools in surrounding counties asking if they could also be involved with "B4TheBell".

The idea came to Strehle in 2018, in light of the numerous mass shootings at schools around the nation.
