If you live or work in Ross County and want to be included in the Chillicothe/Ross County Mass Notification System for text alerts, you can now start sign up.

The alerts will be used to notify the public concerning various types of emergency notifications. This would include severe weather and other local emergency situations. Once the system is finalized, an alert will be sent to your phone number provided by voice, text and or email if there is an actual emergency that you have stated you wanted to be alerted to.

This is a free service provided by Ross County, however normal message fees may apply. To receive text messages to your cell phone, your phone must have text messaging capabilities. Notifications are dependent upon external providers (such as phone carrier, cell phone, email). Ross County cannot guarantee notifications will be received by the intended recipient.
