Sherrod Brown Considers Possible White House Run

Speculation has been on the rise that Ohio's Democratic U.S. Senator, Sherrod Brown, may run for President, and now he's telling the Columbus Dispatch that he's thinking about it. 


Brown tells the Dispatch that he's been hearing “sort of a crescendo" about it, and so he says it is on his mind, but that he's not close to saying yes. 


The 66-year-old Mansfield native, at age 22, became the youngest at the time to ever be elected to the Ohio house and he's been in one office or another ever since. brown was strongly considered by Hillary Clinton to be her running mate in the 2016 presidential election, but she chose Virginia Senator Tim Kaine.
