Man Dead After Being Struck by Train in Ross County

A man is dead after being struck by a train in Ross County.


Ross County Sheriff George Lavender reports that his office was called to the train tracks in the 6500 block of Three Locks Road shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday. 


Deputies arrived and discovered that John Milar, 36, had been on the tracks and was struck by a Norfolk and Southern train. 


Mr. Milar was pronounced dead at the scene. His body is in the care of the Ross County Coroner's Office.


The investigation is ongoing.
