A pickup program for yard waste in the City of Chillicothe will launch the week of May 7th.
Mayor Luke Feeney says this will be an "on demand" service being offered by the city, where residents will be able to either call or email the city service department to pickup their yard waste. That contact information will be posted on the City of Chillicothe website and Facebook page- prior to the May 7th start-up.
Feeney says residents should give city crews a 48-hour advance notice on when the materials will be available for collection.
This city service is being offered along with the temporary yard waste disposal site off Consumer Center Drive, each Saturday from 8am-2pm.
