SOFTBALL: Kailey Hurley drove in three of Huntington’s runs in an 8-1 win over Wellston. Hurley also struck out 8 Lady Rockets in pitching a complete game… Southeastern was a 6-5 winner over Vinton County. Carroll picks up the win for the Lady Panthers.

BASEBALL: Waverly improved to 7-1 after beating Oak Hill 6-4 in the completion of Wednesday’s suspended game. Jonathon Thompson had a pair of RBI as Logan Kottenbrook moved to 4-0 on the season. Waverly is 11-4 overall.

BOYS TENNIS: Gallia Academy snapped Chillicothe’s 8 match winning streak, 3-2. Down one player, the Cavs forfeited 3rd Singles and mixed up their 2nd Doubles team. That team, Michael Herlihy and Lawrence Li picked up a 6-0, 6-2 lead. 1st Doubles team Gabby Lapurga and Max Kreiger cruised to a 6-0,6-0 victory. Will Kreiger and Sophie Fulkerson dropped their Singles matches. The Cavs are back to action Friday hosting Dublin Scioto at OUC.
