The Ross County Point in Time Count will be held on January 28th. Tabitha Muse, with the Ross County Continuum of Care, said this is one of two counts they do to tally the number of those without a home: "It's extremely important because it helps us determine the needs and services that are required to end homelessness in our community."

Muse said a count is held in the summer and winter.

"It might be new people that we come across, but the number kind of fluctuates about the same in between about 15 to 25."

Volunteers will go out in pairs for the count starting at 4am on January 28th.

They'll also have a drop-in center for the homeless at Solace of Ross County, at 203 West Water Street, in Chillicothe, where those in need can get a hot meal, tarps, blankets, hats, and hygiene items.
