A Chillicothe man could be facing felony charges after bringing what police believe was drugs into the Ross County Jail.
30 year old Dustin Gillium was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by police at Poland Park Thursday evening. Drug residue and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle, and Gillium was placed under arrest for possession of drug abuse instruments.
Gillium was taken to the Ross County jail, where he was asked if he had any contraband on his person. He told officers "No", but later while getting dressed, officers say they found an off- white colored rock in his boot. Gillium told officers it was heroin.
The suspected heroin will be sent to BCI&I for testing, and the case will be presented to the grand jury for possible charges of illegal conveyance into a detention facility.
