Authorities are investigating a home invasion that took place in the 1,100-block of Ginger Hill Road in Ross County just before midnight, Tuesday.

Sheriff George Lavender said deputies were called to the home on a report of a robbery and the victims told deputies a masked-male with a gun and knife went into the home and asked for money. The victims also said he took an unknown amount of money from a purse.

According to Sheriff Lavender, the suspect was described as 5'6" in height and slender. He was reportedly wearing an orange ski mask, blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and white tennis shoes.

"The investigation has produced a suspect, and investigators are following up," said Lavender in a release.
